Kazuhiro Muto

I take digital assets that have been in use for a long time and tune them with today's technology so they are easier to use.

Lately I have been researching and developing a data-tuning methodology built on local LLMs, so private data is never handed to an AI service.

I like approaches that make a task dozens of times more efficient with just enough features and just enough data.

I leave the processing of rules that people made to AI, and support owners so they can focus on the things that have value because a person does them.

"M" VALUE

M digs up the wisdom of those who came before — buried deep by the upheaval that AI has set off — polishes it, brings it back to life for today, and passes it on to the next generation.

(Put plainly: M offers data cleanup and app improvement.)

Rather than packing in everything that might be nice to have, M narrows things down to what the owner truly needs and refines that, aiming for solutions where art and function meet, like a sword from a master smith.

By publishing this Methodology (the approach) free of charge, M aims to help the next generation build the strength to get through this upheaval on their own.

M teaches this Methodology through one subject: cars as a hobby.

MINING is the record of experience gained out of necessity, and of projects followed wherever curiosity led. I hope it gives the next generation hints for finding their own path.

MESH is where owners can join, with their support, in developing the diagnostic, repair and tuning tools they want.

MASTERS is content for owners who have bought MILE on MESH. It shares the features, logic and use of the tools and the story of building them, to help owners grow their own skills.

And the confidence of having followed your own path all the way and made it real is the most powerful general-purpose tool there is — one that works across work, family and hobbies alike.

For the owners connected through M: I hope you get hold of this tool, learn to use it well, and gain your freedom.

"M"EETUPHUB | A place where partners are happy too

I want to create a place — a physical space — where owners who want to keep driving the cars they have cherished can learn the skills to look after those cars themselves.

I call it the "M"eetup Hub: a hub that experience and knowledge pass through, by way of "M".

And we must not forget the owner's partner. Trial and error, once you are hooked, swallows you whole and you stop seeing what is around you. When that happens, the one who pays for it most is the partner.

The luxury of getting hooked is possible largely because a partner is there. I want to build a place where that irreplaceable partner does not pay for it, and is in fact the one who feels happiest.

A place that gives partners a satisfaction like never before (that is the plan)

Let's be honest: to a partner with no interest in cars, the car hobby is a parade of negatives — uncool, smelly, dirty, creepy, loud. Especially once the "love magic" (about three years) wears off, the partner's reaction shows it plainly.

On top of that, if during the romantic years the car had a big problem and you spent too much on it, or you kept your partner waiting for hours at car meets, at shops while you chatted or worked, then the treatment you get once the magic wears off is harsh. Let that pile up and even keeping the car becomes hard.

If you want to keep the car hobby going, your partner needs a good experience through the car too. Here in Hokuto, in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan, there is everything that soothes: nature, good food, good water, good drinks and affordable hot springs.

My dream is to make a place where partners can enjoy all of this to the full, and where owners hear "go ahead, do as much as you like." If I can help both people find how each of them can be comfortable, that would also make me very happy.

P.S.

When my wife and I had just started dating, I once kept her waiting for a long time in the blazing summer heat. I had asked a shop to change my tyres and was waiting, but it just would not finish. I was being considerate toward the shop as well, and could not bring myself to say I was keeping her waiting.

When I did tell them, the shop rushed to finish, but by then my wife was close to heatstroke. I had asked her to wait in a café, but she got bored of it and went outside. I still carry that regret.

So I strongly want to give partners an experience that lets them forget the time while they wait.
